Well this summer has been a very eventful month. We had a very scary event, my grandpa had a heart attack in Washington. It was an extremely scary moment for everyone, but with quick care he had it treated. He did still have some damage to his artery but he will just have to follow a strict diet and exercise regime. It was very scary for all of us but we were also very thankful that he was close enough for my Uncle Kevin to be with him.
Liz has been very busy as well this summer. She is teaching preschool for KPS summer school this year. She has two groups of high needs kids. It has been very challenging but she has met some amazing little kids. She has also taken on a fun side job of working at the Tropical Sno snow cone stand. It has been a fun job.
Eric's work is starting to get a little faster. He has gotten farmers all fixed for planting, but now he is just waiting for harvest to start up.
Eric is also getting very eager to start fishing. Fishing fever has hit him. Last week Eric even got the boat all cleaned and ready for the first expedition. He has high hopes to get out there this week, but we will see. He has been researching all sorts of baits to use to catch the big ones! He has also been practicing with his bow and arrow. He hope to be able to catch a fish with that this year.
As I said before that the first month of summer has been busy and scary but we are looking forward to see what else our summer has in store for us. We know we have a few trips to try to make work out next month and a bunch of family time!
